Guess What I’m Watching This Summer – Part 3

Aaaaand I’m back again with part 3!

I’m really excited about these next 4 shows. I’ve been waiting for ages to get into them but never found the time.

What new tv shows or movies are you watching this summer? Or are you planning a rewatch?

This next batch of shows make me really happy, even if the first one is truly devastating.

Chernobyl (2019)

I know. It’s not a summery light-hearted show that you can binge in one sitting and have a good time.

It’s a show about the explosion at the nuclear power plant in Chernboyl in April 1986.

I have heard from literllay everybody how amazing it is and I am really looking forward to it, even if it is incredibly realistic and catastrophic.

Details: HBO, Drama, 5 episodes

Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in Maniac (2018)

When this show came out, in 2018, everybody was talking about it and I did not felt the urge to watch it.

At all.

I really couldn’t care less. I really didn’t. Even if it had Emma Stone in it. And I really really like her.

That being said, my friend mentioned it the other day and she got me interested.

It’s a show about mental health and these two people who put themselves in the hands of a pharmaceutical company who wants to “cure” them.

It’s supposed to be surreal and I am here for it.

Details: Netflix, Drama, 1 season

The Other Two

Drew Tarver and Heléne Yorke in The Other Two (2019)

IMDb says: “An aspiring actor and his sister Brooke, a former professional dancer, try to find their place in the world while wrestling with their feelings about their 13-year-old brother Chase’s sudden rise to internet fame.

It’s written by two former SNL co-head writers, Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider and it looks like so much fun.

I needed a nice and funny comedy in the midst of all this saddness and drama.

Details: Comedy Central, Comedy, 1 season

Good Omens

Michael Sheen and David Tennant in Good Omens (2019)

David Tennant is in this.

That’s it.

That’s the reason I’m watching this show. And I can’t wait.

Details: Amazon Prime Video, Comedy, 6 episodes

And that’s it! Part 3!

I’m so excited to watch these four shows!

Have you seen any of these? Would you recommend them? Have you got any thoughts on them?
