Super weird shows with ridiculous tag lines. In this list you will find shows I think should not have been made and some shows that do not sound that interesting to me.
I loooooooove this time of year, when the 2018-2019 shows are announced, new pilots are coming out and new series are born.
What an exciting time.
Now, let’s get into it!

God Friended Me, CBS
Bear with me, this is the synopsis:
An outspoken atheist’s life is turned upside down when he is “friended” by God on social media. Unwittingly, he becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him.
No, like… WHAT!?
I’m watching this and a review will most definitely come out.
PREMIERE DATE: Sept. 30th
Happy Together (CBS)
A couple, tired of their mundane life, starts hanging out with a young pop star who moves in.
It’s so trashy and I won’t watch it.
I can already hear the “old people jokes” and various easily predictable laugher. (There are backing laughing tracks. This is not 2005.)
PREMIERE DATE: Oct. 1st
LEGACIES, The CW
I don’t really get it but is this the spin-off of the spin off of the Vampire Diaries?
Do we really need any more that this? Does the world need more magical creatures, vampires in a glossy and polished setting trying to be dark and edgy?
PREMIERE DATE: Oct. 25th
THE NEIGHBORHOOD (CBS)
The nicest guy in the Midwest moves his family into a tough neighborhood in L.A. where not everyone appreciates his extreme neighborliness.
What is this synopsis? No really. I want to know.
Should I read this and think: “Oh, this sounds interesting! I should check it out!”?
Did you read it? Like, did you?
Finally some diversity on CBS! I don’t like how fake it all looks, especially the houses. I don’t think I’ll watch it.
PREMIERE DATE: Oct. 1st
THE ROOKIE (ABC)
No no no. Why? This is basically Castle, but Nathan Fillion is a cop now. No. I’m tired of seeing him on TV.
Especially after all the rumours on the “Castle” set and the ugly way the show ended.
There are so many stories you can told and this topic has been thoughtfully exhausted.
PREMIERE DATE: Oct. 16th
ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO (The CW)
Seriously, The CW? Come on.
the daughter of undocumented immigrants discovers a shocking truth about her teenage crush who is now a police officer: he’s an alien who has kept his unearthly abilities hidden his entire life. She protects his secret as the two reconnect and begin to investigate his origins, but when a violent attack and long-standing government cover-up point to a greater alien presence on Earth, the politics of fear and hatred threaten to expose him and destroy their deepening romance.
Ehm… What? Like…. what? Is this for real?!
An alien? Government cover-up? WHAT?!
PREMIERE DATE: Midseason
CHARMED (The CW)
Why! No Seriously. Why reboot this show? I watched the trailer and no. I like that they’ve cast a diverse cast and it seems more modern and progressive, as it were.
I am perfectly aware that I’m saying I won’t see it but… who has two thumbs and will definitely watch at least the pilot?
PREMIERE DATE: October 14th.
